Aniimo: How to Find and Use Blooms Guide

Here's a quick guide on how to find and use Blooms in Aniimo.

Blooms are useful things to find while exploring Idyll. They reveal part of the map and also work as fast travel points, so finding one can save you from making the same long trip again later.

Look for Blooms

You’ll come across Blooms while exploring different parts of Idyll. If you see one during your travels, it’s worth stopping to check it out instead of simply walking past it.

You’ll probably end up needing to return to different areas later, so having a Bloom there can save you some time.

Activate a Bloom

Find a Bloom, walk up to it, and interact with it. This unlocks the Bloom and makes it a travel point. When you turn it on, its icon will also turn blue on your map instead of gray.

Once you have activated a Bloom, you can open your map and select it as a destination for travel. Choose the Bloom and teleport instead of walking all the way.

Check What It Reveals

Blooms aren't only useful for fast travel. Activating one can reveal a larger part of the surrounding map, including things like Sanctums, Nurture Points, Pathfinder Challenges and Aniimo Nests.

This makes them handy when you're trying to figure out what there is to do in a new area.

Travel Using Blooms

Check your map to see if there is an activated Bloom near where you're going before a long trip. You can save yourself a whole lot of walking by teleporting to a nearby spot first.

You don't have to be standing at another Bloom to teleport. You can use the map from wherever you are, although fast travel isn't available while you're in combat.

Activate Them as You Go

Try to activate Blooms whenever you come across them. Even if you don't need one right now, you'll be glad to have it unlocked when a quest or another activity sends you back to that area.

The more you explore, the more travel options you'll have.

Use the Map to Plan Ahead

Before a long trip, check your map to see if there’s an activated Bloom near where you’re going. Teleporting to a nearby point first can save you a lot of walking.

If you are not sure which travel point is closest, you can also track your destination and let the map help you find a suitable route.

Final Tips

As you explore Idyll, you’ll want to keep an eye out for Blooms, and activate them when you find them. They reveal more of the map, and give you another place to fast travel to later. It will be a lot easier to explore Idyll if you make it a habit early on.
