Aniimo: How to Use the Distribution Map Guide

Here's a quick guide on how to use the Distribution Map in Aniimo.

The Distribution Map can save you from wandering around not knowing where to look if you are trying to find a particular Aniimo in Idyll. It shows where you can find Aniimo, and useful information about the conditions in these areas.

Open the Map

Start by opening your map while you're exploring Idyll. From there, you can access Aniimo Distribution in the lower-left corner. You can also zoom the map all the way out to bring up the same information.

Check a Region

The Distribution Map shows the Aniimo collection progress for each region. It also shows the current weather conditions, which can be important when you're looking for something specific.

If you don't know where to start, choose the region that has the Aniimo you are looking for and see its info before going there.

Check the Aniimo You Want

Once you've found the right region, look through its Aniimo information to see where the creature can appear. This is much easier than simply walking around and hoping you happen to find it.

Some Aniimo are also affected by things like the time of day or weather, so finding the right region isn't always enough.

Pay Attention to Weather

Don't ignore the weather shown on the map. Certain Aniimo or forms can require specific weather conditions, meaning you could be in exactly the right area and still not find what you're looking for.

If the conditions aren't right, you may need to come back later instead of wasting time searching.

Unlock More Areas

Some Aniimo information can be unavailable at first. If an entry is greyed out, it means you haven't unlocked enough of the map to reveal where that Aniimo can be found yet. Keep exploring new areas and the information will become available.

Track Your Target

Once you know where you want to go, use the map to help you get there. When you are tracking a target, the game gives you a direction and distance indicator, so it is easier to find your way without opening up the map all the time.

Use the Map Before Hunting

Before you head out looking for an Aniimo, take a few seconds to check the Distribution Map. Knowing the region and conditions beforehand can save you a lot of unnecessary searching.
