If taking screenshots is your hobby, then here are the top five games for taking in-game screenshots.

Taking screenshots in video games is nothing new. No matter the games we play, we take screenshots every time we unlock new locations, special outfits, or weapons or during boss fights. While some do this to prepare guides, others mostly do this to expose the creative part of the game and themselves. You’ll find numerous groups of people sharing in-game screenshots on different subreddits or even social networks like Instagram or Twitter.

Since most gaming buffs capture stunning in-game screenshots and gameplay & save them on mobile apps like the PlayStation App, Steam App, or even their device gallery, the risk of accidental deletion is always present. Stellar Data Recovery for Android is a powerful android data recovery software designed to recover such lost files effortlessly. Whether it’s screenshots, videos, or game-related media, this software supports a wide range of file types and works across various Android devices. Its user-friendly interface ensures even beginners can retrieve their data without hassle, making it an essential utility for gamers who value preserving their cherished gaming memories.

Whether the loss is due to accidental deletion, formatting, or a system error, Stellar Data Recovery for Android provides a reliable solution to recover those cherished in-game moments. Gamers and fans can breathe easy knowing their digital masterpieces are not gone forever but can be recovered with just a few clicks from their Android phones.

However, if you’re sharing images using the mobile app or directly from the game platform itself, here are my top five games for taking in-game screenshots.

Elden Ring, Gameplay, Screenshots

1. Elden Ring

Elden Ring is already one of my favorite games of all time, and after playing Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, I fell in love with the game even more. And for good reason. Given the game’s gorgeous organic environment and the abundance of fascinating exploring possibilities it presents, you feel like taking screenshots every time you visit a new location.

Even though the game doesn’t feature a photo mode, that doesn’t stop you from taking screenshots during the gameplay since you can entirely turn the HUD off for a clean screen, which is perfect for nice shots. Plus, the game’s cutscenes work in a pre-made photo mode. There are many cinematics that feature the player character that you can just simply snap a screenshot of, and it looks pretty good. Elden Ring is certainly a photo-worthy game, as literally, every location looks like it could be a painting.

Cyberpunk 2077, Gameplay, Screenshots

2. Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 is a gem from the CD Projekt RED. The game is so full of life that you won’t realize how time flies when you’re at the Night City. The game is brimming with NPCs and activities that truly give the vibe of a futuristic world. Every place you go and every building you enter has something unique to amaze you, and you’ll find yourself taking screenshots anywhere you step in.

The game has an extensive map that includes busy metropolises and desert areas. While there are many actions to do in most places, the free-roaming nature is what inspires you to be creative. The night and day cycle, the futuristic outfits of the NPCs, and the exquisite locations will surely have you take tons of screenshots once you end up playing the game.

Red Dead Redemption 2, Gameplay, Screenshots

3. Red Dead Redemption 2

While not quite as groundbreaking as its predecessor, Red Dead Redemption 2 more than holds its own with its gorgeous visuals, engaging side quests, and interesting characters. Flawed yet breathtakingly gorgeous and full of quests to get involved in the game. Character interactions and communication are also strong points of the game. The game becomes even more immersive when you learn that each gang member has their narrative and reasons for being there.

Even though after a few rides across the wide world, you won’t find anything really engaging, what’s left is it’s wonderful for setting the atmosphere. Besides the plot, the game takes place in a huge universe with intricately rendered landscapes, ever-changing weather, and a natural ecology. Engage in conversation with NPCs, go on animal hunts, and have fun with random happenings that brighten up the environment.  RDR2 is a masterwork if you like games with deep narratives, unique characters, and realistic environments.

Control, Gameplay, Screenshots

4. Control

Remedy Entertainment is well-known for making games that are not only engaging but also breathtakingly beautiful visually, even if the game’s settings are unrealistic. So, from a visual standpoint, Control is gorgeous. Despite the restricted exploration options, Remedy has added a variety of places that enhance the spooky themes. Throughout the game, you’ll find twisted locations and plenty of environments that distort reality. You spend the whole game in an office, so anticipating a field of wildflowers is a little unrealistic, but the color scheme never feels dull. You’ll feel like taking screenshots every time you step into a new area of the building.

While the main tale does unlock some of the more important skills and places, you are still free to explore at your leisure. You will come across additional bosses, more powerful Hiss than in the main quest, and objectives to gain materials for stronger modifications in certain areas. As the game’s protagonist, Jesse Faden uncovers new mysteries and new sections of the building, you’ll end up taking so many screenshots during the game that you will be amazed once you check the folder later on.

Detroit Become Human, Chole, Gameplay, Screenshots

5. Detroit: Become Human

Detroit: Become Human is a special game. It’s not like the other games I’ve mentioned here. It’s pretty linear when it comes to gameplay, and the story follows the same path. You are given some choices, and following them takes you to the end of the game. But why is it on this list? Well, that’s because there aren’t any games like Detroit: Become Human, and there probably won’t be unless Quantic Dream’s team can outdo their creativity.

The game is full of amazing settings and beautifully designed characters. The game takes place through 32 chapters, each with unique settings and a set of characters. Most of these settings are so beautiful and lifelike that you’re surely going to take an excessive number of screenshots during your playthrough. There are characters like Chloe, North, Markus, Connor, Kara, and a few more who are so lifelike that each moment you spend in the game with you, you’ll feel like capturing them as a memory.
