A guide on how to understand the skill rotation and Hex builds in Crystal of Atlan.
There are four elements in Crystal of Atlan, and it might be very tough to understand how to use them when you are just starting out in Crystal of Atlan. This guide will show you how to understand all the elements and use them properly.
Elementalist Skill Rotations

When you first start out, try managing Thunder Cores. Depending on how well you can do this, your performance during important DPS windows will either go up or down.
To use the magic shred effect of Spiritual Harness, you should always start with it. The rotation is a little different if you’re wearing pre- or post-five-piece armor sets, so if you’re watching the guide, make sure to pause and look at the sequence on screen.
Some important things to remember:
If you dash right as the first meteor falls in Falling Stars, you can stop the animation. This allows you to sneak in some normal attacks and make your window work more effectively.
Depending on where you are and how big your target is, Ionic Barrier can do twice or even three times as much damage. Stay on top of or very close to the boss to get the most done.
Do not skip the animation of awakening. Yes, it’s long, but it also serves as free armor when things get crazy. If necessary, use it as a defense.
Arcane Inferno is not a good place to sleep. It seems like Planetary Annihilation takes three business days to finish casting. Inferno, on the other hand, is faster, safer, and usually stronger because it fits better with cooldown windows.
Gear up: Accessory First, Hex Later

Before you decide which Hex piece to buy, you should focus on getting your accessories to Level 60 and unlocking the effects that come with them. Why? Because Resonance gives an extra 20% skill damage for 15 seconds, which is a lot during DPS bursts.
Scrolls will take a while to finish, so don’t worry about getting your build just right too soon. Pay attention to the big changes first; initially, accessories will make a noticeable difference.
Making a Hex Theory

Now let’s talk about Hex gear—this is the fun part. For now, you have two good options:
Chariot is made for a lot of people, and it rewards precise timing and tight skill execution. In fights with heavy mechanics, it really shines. Also, Effie of Blessings works really well with this build.
On the other hand, Cavalry is more about comfort and consistency. It gives you more room to make mistakes when you’re not working hard or when your boss is changing. In terms of numbers, it might not do better than Chariot, but it’s much more forgiving.
The difference between the two isn’t very big. When you’re up against bosses who demand precise execution, Chariot will shine, while Cavalry will keep you afloat no matter what.
