A guide on how to upgrade your class gear as fast as possible in Crystal of Atlan.
Figuring out the fastest way to get your class-specific gear without falling behind in power is one of the hardest parts of getting gear in the endgame. This guide will show you the best way to level up without slowing down your power spike, whether you’re a player who is always having bad luck or someone who just wants to make their daily grind better.
Do Your Daily Tasks

Let’s start with a baseline before we talk about priorities. We’re going to assume that you already do the following regularly:
- Farming level 55 elites daily
- Completing 10 conquests per week
- Maxing out daily shards
- Having 8 million gold or enough patience to wait on market dips (with prices hovering around 60k)
- Running Void Nest three times a week
- Optionally: You have two level 60 alts (not required, but it helps a lot)
The Big Question: Armor First vs. Weapon First?

A lot of players think the weapon should come first. That’s not completely wrong, especially if you want to do a lot of damage, but let’s look at it more logically.
This is why you should get the armor set first:
- More drops and less need to feel sorry for them
- You’ll finish a full set faster.
- A full set of armor gives you a huge boost in power earlier
- When you play harder content, such as Hex Chests, that power spike makes it safer and smoother to play.
To get a weapon first, on the other hand, you usually have to farm Hex pieces, improve them over time, and wait longer for a small stat boost. It does help, but the time it takes doesn’t quite pay off as well as the armor does, at least at first.
How to Use Shards and When

As you finish your armor set and get ready for your weapon or accessories, the next big step is to learn how to manage your shards.
These are the things we suggest:
- Don’t use your shards until you’ve made three accessories.
- Insert prayers into the fifth piece as soon as you reach the fourth one.
Why? Since the fifth slot has the best chance of giving you a lucky drop, you don’t want to waste your prayers early on when RNG might finally turn your way.
This plan allows you to save your shards for when you really need them, providing flexibility in case something comes up earlier than planned.
