Level up your VR gaming in style with the D2 Charging Dock.

It is a common occurrence that most people who play on the PlayStation 5 and PSVR2 store their controllers and system in a closet or away from their gaming areas and, therefore, are usually not charged to be able to play whenever they want to play at the first moment. Having to connect each controller individually, especially the PSVR2 Sense ones with no more than 4 hours of battery, is a nuisance that we have had to accept to enter the greatness of VR. No more, KIWI Design says, with the new D2 Charging Dock.

This product is a vertical stand in which you can connect up to four controllers, two DualSense, and two Sense controllers, all at the same time, with no downside to having to choose which one will get to use your few charging cables. It also works as a stand for your PSVR2 goggles; while most people store it in a box and do not play for a certain period, a verified upside of adding this structure to your gaming room is that you will be able to use more quickly play your favorite VR games.

The first thing you will notice about the D2 Charging Dock is its size as soon as it arrives at your home. This is a hefty product that instantly inspires confidence in your purchase. As soon as you open the box, you will also notice the color palette to match the one of the PlayStation 5 and PSVR2 standard black and white colors to be the same. For those interested in keeping a similar aesthetic in their gaming rooms, the D2 Charging Dock will fit perfectly in said space.

Two rectangular boxes containing two pillars, two magnetic USB-C connectors, a KIWI Design zip tie, and the wall charger on the side gracefully adorn the inside of the box. At the base of the package is the piece de resistance, the one-stop shop for all of your PlayStation gaming needs: the display stand, ready to attend to all of your needs. With the previously mentioned support and hanger, it is easy to assemble them with the stand.

Everything is carefully stored and held tightly with specifically positioned cardboard boxes so that no matter how much the product needs to travel to get to you, it will arrive safely. Once the main base is assembled and connected, it is finally time to adorn it with your gaming peripherals.

Having the icons to know when each hooked controller is ready to play is just the cherry on top. Although I did not know what I was getting into with the D2 Charging Dock, it is irrefutable that it is a must-have for any PSVR2 hardcore gamer. Its easy-to-access stand allows you to instantly play in seconds without having to worry about your next charge, as your Sense controllers sit comfortably in the back of the base.

The stylish design of the D2 Charging Dock makes it instantly attractive to anyone who enters the room. But most importantly, it serves as both a slick and practical way to showcase your gear while also charging them ready for use whenever it is game time. Easily connecting the magnetic USB-C connectors to the PSVR2 Sense controllers, when seeing the whole stand in all its majestic glory with all your products charging on it, it is clear to see that not only does it feel like a premium product, but it delivers in all possible fronts as well.

After the first use of this versatile display, I will never go back to manually charging my controllers individually with the charging cable, and neither should you.

Thanks to KIWI Design for providing a PSVR2 Charging Dock for testing.
