Genshin Impact has a housing system called the Serenitea Pot that lets you create and decorate your own realm. As you advance, you may unlock new features, select the realm layout from the available options and add furniture to decorate the different areas.

But first, you have to satisfy the prerequisites and complete the quest to unlock the system before you can begin the decorating process. The Serenitea Pot also offers a tranquil environment that is unlike the typical exploration experience and allows you to play around with different decorations and layouts once you unlock it.

Meet the Requirements

To begin the Serenitea Pot quest, you need to be at Adventure Rank 28 and have completed Archon Quest Chapter I: Act III - A New Star Approaches. After doing this, talk to Madame Ping in Liyue Harbor to start A Teapot to Call Home: Part I.

Make A Teapot You Can Call Home

Help Madame Ping restore Liyue Harbor to normal. Do as A Teapot to Call Home says. You can reach the housing system with the Serenitea Pot gadget after the quest.

Enter the Serenitea Pot

Go to your inventory, then to the area labeled “Gadgets.” Pick up the Serenitea Pot and put it somewhere in the open world where people can come into your realm. Speak to it. You can also teleport to a location in Teyvat or re-summon the item.

Choose Your Realm Layout

Once you step into the Serenitea Pot, you will be able to choose from the realm layouts that are available to you at the moment. Don’t worry too much about choosing the “perfect” option; your first choice isn’t set in stone. As you progress through the housing system, you might get access to more layouts.

Start Decorating

Head inside and talk to the Teapot Spirit, Tubby, for a glimpse of the housing’s fundamental nature. You can craft furniture from blueprints and place it throughout your domain. Also, furnishing and placing furniture is another way to raise your Trust Rank, which will then open up more features and benefits. Try different furniture arrangements instead of trying to finish your whole realm at once.
