Honkai Star Rail: How to Spend Trailblaze Power Efficiently Guide

Trailblaze Power is a very important limited resource in Honkai: Star Rail. Required for many activities that reward character materials, Credits, Relics, Light Cone materials and more. It will regrow over time, so it’s important to use it wisely, especially if you’re an F2P player.

Focus on Your Main Team

The most efficient way to spend Trailblaze Power is to focus on the characters you actually use. Don’t spend lots of resources building every character you have. Start with your Main DPS, then your Supports and Sub-DPS. A smaller number of well built characters is much more useful than a large roster of unfinished characters.

Farm Character Ascension Materials

If a character is nearing the next Ascension, prioritize the materials to help them raise their level cap. Leveling up important characters gives a huge boost to their stats and lets you keep leveling them up. Gather the required enemy drops, Stagnant Shadow materials, and other Ascension materials before using Power on less important upgrades.

Upgrade Traces

Trace materials are another great use of Trailblaze Power. Upgrading important Traces can give a large boost to a character’s damage, healing, buffs, or general utility. But, don’t just max out every Trace. Prioritize upgrades that give you the most bang for your buck and focus on the abilities your character uses most often.

Farm Credits and EXP Materials When Necessary

Credits and Character EXP materials are essential for upgrading characters, but they shouldn't always be your top priority. When you’re running low, spend some Trailblaze Power on Calyxes to replenish your stock.

Don’t Overfarm Relics At The Start

Relics are super important for endgame builds, but farming them too early can waste a ton of Trailblaze Power. Level, Light Cone, and Important Traces Before Farming Relics Seriously Ensure your character is developed enough to farm Relics seriously. Early on, Relics with decent stats are usually good enough.

Get Ready For New Characters

If you are saving up for a future character, you can use your Trailblaze Power to pre-farm their known Ascension and Trace materials. This means you can get them leveled much quicker once you get them. Don’t farm for uncertain materials for characters you may not even pull.

Use Your Power Frequently

Trailblaze Power recharges itself. If you leave it capped for long periods of time you’re wasting potential regeneration. Use it often, even if you are just farming general resources.
