Difficult bosses in Neverness to Everness are supposed to test more than your damage output. They test you overall abilities to maneuver through their attacks and create openings to beat through their defenses. Hence, it is a test of your overall battle intelligence. There are certain bosses that many players often struggle to beat even. 

Level Up Your Team Before Battle 

Before you tackle a difficult boss, ensure your team is properly upgraded. Upgrade your characters, improve their weapons and equip the best gear available. Sometimes a good team trumps rare characters. 

And it’s worth upgrading your support units too. Longer fights are much easier to survive with healers and buffers, especially when fighting bosses that deal constant damage.

Learn Boss Attack Patterns 

Each boss has a number of attack patterns, which are easier to spot after a few tries. Watch for visual indicators before big attacks, and learn which skills can be dodged or interrupted without penalty. 

Don’t attack non-stop, save yourself enough stamina or mobility to not be able to make dangerous moves. Surviving a big hit is usually worth more than landing a few extra shots.

Create a Balanced Team 

Parties with a balanced set of roles do better than parties made up entirely of damage dealers. Bring in healing, shields, buffs or crowd control characters with your main DPS. 

If the boss has elemental weaknesses or specific mechanics, adjust your lineup to exploit them. Often it is better to build around the encounter than to use the same team for every battle. 

Use Dodges & Defensive Skills 

Many boss attacks can deal massive damage, but can be completely avoided with proper timing. Learn to dodge just before the attack lands, instead of spamming evasive abilities. 

Save defensive skills, shields and healing abilities for when the boss enters an aggressive phase. Careful management of these cooldowns will help your team survive longer fights. 

Keep Your Best Skills 

Don't use your ultimate skills as soon as they are ready. Instead, wait for the boss to be vulnerable, stunned, or to get a damage window. This means your strongest attacks will do maximum damage and the overall battle will be shortened. 

Likewise, whenever possible, try to combine high-damage abilities with buffs to make the most of your burst potential.

Bring Equipment & Consumables

Healing items, temporary buffs and other consumables can make a tough encounter much easier. Farm items before you go up against tough bosses, especially if you’re doing content that is beyond your power level. 

Often, it’s better to use a few consumables than to keep restarting the fight after a defeat. 

Refine and Practice Your Strategy 

Not all bosses can be beaten on your first try. Keep losing? Don’t do the same thing over and over again. Figure out what you did wrong. You may need to upgrade your equipment or change your team composition or the timing of some attack phases. 

The more you get to know each other, the faster your reactions will be and the fewer mistakes you will make. Patience, preparation and a bit of resource management are your best bet at beating the toughest bosses in Neverness to Everness, and earning the valuable rewards they protect.
