Here's a quick guide on the best multiplayer activities to do with your friends in Neverness to Everness.
Neverness to Everness also offers various multiplayer options to explore Hethereau with friends, though the core story is strictly single-player. Once co-op is unlocked, you can team up for combat, social activities, and a number of side modes that reward teamwork and offer a fun diversion from normal progression.
Group Complete Anomaly Contracts
Anomaly Contracts are some of the best co-op activities in the game. It’s always easier to take on a powerful enemy when you’ve got friends on your side, especially when your party’s Esper types and reaction chains work well together. The higher tier contracts also go a lot faster with multiple players, so they're a great way to spend out multiplayer sessions.
Challenge Weekly Bosses
Another great reason to play with friends is Weekly Bosses. Good teammates can help new players get through tough battles that might otherwise take multiple attempts. Rewards are handed out individually, so each player that takes part can get their own drops without having to compete with others for loot. These fights are among the most rewarding multiplayer activities to be had.

Discover the City Together
Just roaming around Hethereau with friends can be quite a fun thing. Together you can drive through different districts, learn about landmarks, search for collectibles and enjoy the atmosphere of the city. Story progression is still locked to single-player, but free-roam exploration is a great way to unwind between combat-focused activities.
Play Mini-Games & Social Activities
Neverness to Everness features several multiplayer mini-games that are more casual. You can hang out with friends without worrying about build optimization or killing powerful enemies with things like arcade games, mahjong and other social features. They are great to relax after achieving your daily goals.
Take the Pink Paws Heist
One of the more unique multiplayer experiences in the game is The Pink Paws Heist. Working together to achieve goals is usually more effective than playing solo, and teammates can split up and cover multiple routes and take out enemies faster. Communicating well will increase your chances of successfully completing the heist and gaining better rewards.
Join Race Events
If you want a change of pace then racing is one of the most entertaining multi-player modes. You get to learn the layout of Hethereau and practice the mechanics of driving, but it is fun to race your friends through the streets of the city. It's a nice alternative as well when you're not feeling like farming combat content.

Visit Friends Houses
More than just fighting multiplayer. You also can visit friends’ homes and see their decorations and personalized spaces. There’s not a lot of gameplay reward in this activity, but it does add a social element to the world and gives players another reason to interact outside of battles, making the world feel more connected.
Concluding Remarks
Neverness to Everness's best multiplayer activities combine cooperative play with rewarding gameplay. Weekly Bosses and Anomaly Contracts provide the largest progression benefits, but there’s still plenty of casual fun to be had in races, mini-games, heists and city exploration. You can’t do story quests in co-op for now, so use multiplayer to farm resources, take on tough challenges and enjoy Hethereau with friends in between your solo adventures.
