Choosing the right weapon is an important part of Resonators building in Wuthering Waves. Having a good weapon can increase damage, energy generation, or general team utility. Ultimately the best choice is going to depend on the role and abilities of each Resonator. You can build an effective character without a signature 5-star weapon.

Choose Weapons Based on Role

First, learn what your Resonator does. Main DPS characters usually want CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, ATK%, and damage bonuses. Sub-DPS characters might prioritize damage or Energy Regen, whereas Supports often benefit more from Energy Regen and team utility. Always check the Resonator's kit before you pick a weapon.

Signature Weapons

The signature weapon of a Resonator is usually their best option, as its passive is tailored to their abilities. If you’re going all-in on a favorite Main DPS, their signature weapon can make a noticeable difference.
