Here's a guide on how to complete Side Quests in Wuthering Waves.
Wuthering Waves’ side quests are additional story content, rewards and areas to explore besides the main story. Doing them on a regular basis can also give you useful resources to build your Resonators and progress through the world.
Look For Available Side Quests
Exploring the various regions of Solaris-3 can unveil side-quests. Watch for quest indicators on the map and over the characters you encounter. Some quests only become available when you get to a certain location, finish another quest, or progress further into the main story.
Check Your Quests
Open the quest menu to see the available side quests, and select one to complete. Quest tracking shows you the objectives of a quest and where to go next. If you don't know what to do, read the objective carefully before going elsewhere.
Chat with NPCs
Many side quests start by interacting with NPCs. Talk to characters you meet in towns, settlements and other populated areas. Some NPCs may not give you quests until you complete certain story or exploration elements.

Track Quest Objectives
Side quests can include combat, exploration, puzzle-solving, item collection, or talking to people. Follow each objective meticulously and explore the surrounding environment when the next step is not obvious. Some objectives can also benefit from using your exploration utilities.
Quest Area Exploration
Don’t leave an area immediately after completing the main objective. Side quests often lead you through areas with Supply Chests, collectibles, resources and hidden paths. It’s a time saver and there are other perks to explore while you’re in the area.
Ready for Battle
Some side quests involve fighting groups of enemies or more powerful enemies. Make sure your active team is properly leveled and outfitted before engaging in tough fights. If you have trouble with a fight, leveling up your characters and Echoes can make the objective much easier.

Complete Puzzles with Precision
Some quests also have environmental puzzles which require you to interact with objects or use exploration utilities. Don’t just rush past the area, look around for clues and try mechanisms in the vicinity.
Check Prerequisites
If an NPC doesn't give you a quest, or if an objective appears unavailable, you might have an unmet requirement. Continue with the associated story quests, complete the required tasks, or return to the location later. Some side quests are linked to larger regional progression.
Redeem Your Rewards
Always complete the last objective and take the available rewards after doing a side quest. Rewards vary by quest and may include Astrites, Shell Credits, character materials, weapons and other useful resources.
