According to CEO Gabe Newell, Half-Life: Alyx is just the tip of Valve’s latest game dev iceberg.

After the achievement of Half-Life: Alyx (the first Half-Life game in quite a while), Valve’s fellow benefactor and CEO Gabe Newell has affirmed that Valve has numerous games in the pipeline, and is hoping to zero in on more single-player experiences.

In a meeting with 1 News, Newell discussed how Alyx’s delivery carried new energy to the studio. “Alyx was incredible – to be back doing single-player games, that made a great deal of force within the organization to accomplish a greater amount of that,” Newell said. “We unquestionably have games being developed that we will declare – it’s enjoyable to deliver games.” When it comes to what, precisely, these games are, and on the off chance that they may be extra sections in the Portal and Half-Life series, nonetheless, Newell is staying silent. “I’ve effectively not spoken about those things for quite a while,e and I desire to proceed to not discuss them until they are debatable inquiries,” he said.

“The decent thing is, by not responding to those inquiries, I keep away from the local area concocting new, similarly hard-to-address questions.” Among those hard-to-address questions was one jab at the idea of the reputed Valve title codenamed Citadel. At the point when I got some information about it, Newell just answered, “We have a lot of code names – are you alluding to a code name?” The poker face stayed solid all through the web, with Newell declining to neglect any subtleties or information.

Whatever Valve has at its disposal next is hazy. Nothing remains at this point but to trust that future titles are as strong as Half-Life: Alyx.
