Developer Echtra Games and publisher Perfect World Entertainment have revealed Echonok. Echonok is the third and final act of Torchlight III. It is currently available for PC via Steam Early Access. On 30th June, the new act will be available.
Echonok continues the epic frontier saga of Torchlight III. Now it’s unlocking Econok-themed loot, unique environments, additional story content, and a slew of challenging dungeons that are filled to the brim with new bosses. The new act will be accessible in June for all Torchlight III Early Access players to enjoy. Players discovering Echonok will continue their quest to put a stop to the Netherim incursion.
They will be doing it while plundering the ancient halls of the Dwarves. After defeating the Netherim-infested Sadista it’s up to brave Torchight III players to defeat her cruel sister Veriss. Veriss carries the Void heart which lets the power to merge Netherim worlds and the human. Breaking Veriss’s deadly plan from unfolding is not an easy quest to complete.
Players need to safely navigate the craggy peaks of Mt. Echonok. Where the strange bird machine hybrid, vile and Voltura scavengers have made and strongly defend their houses.
Echtra will continue pushing the game to its eventual 1.0 release. It will bring even more players on PC and a new audience on consoles. Every problem fixed now is that won’t turn off that potentially larger audience in the future. A couple of weeks into its Steam Early Access run, torchlight III is getting ready for its first big update.
