The game is expected to pull in $500 million this year.

A little more than two months after its two-year birthday, Apex Legends has more than 100 million complete players around the world. Developer Respawn Entertainment reported the news over on Twitter with a video praising the achievement and promising it’s “simply beginning” on the fight royale title.

While Apex rushed to pass the 25 million and 50 million player mark in its first month of accessibility, it’s made some harder memories keeping up that very quick force. Before the present declaration, the last time EA, its publisher, discussed player checks was when Apex passed the 70 million player boundary.

That was in late 2019. From that point forward, the game has appreciated more moderate (and seemingly maintainable) development, with the organization revealing in its Q3 earnings that the player base had expanded by 30% year over year. EA still can’t seem to detail how the game’s new Nintendo Switch discharge is doing, however, it couldn’t have harmed things.

No different either way, 100 million players is a critical achievement, particularly in a jam-packed market that incorporates juggernauts like Fortnite and Call of Duty: Warzone that, as of their latest updates, had 350 million and 75 million players, respectively. Also, in spite of being the center youngster around there, none of that has prevented Apex from being a financial performer for EA. The organization anticipates that the game should pull in more than $500 million this year.

At the point when you add that there’s a portable adaptation being developed, it’s protected to say Apex has a brilliant future in front of itself.
