Rebuild your civilization to its former glory. Fight Against The Storm and show what humanity and its allies are made of.

Apocalypses always seem to loom for the world, no matter the era. In this dark fantasy title, Against the Storm, players rebuild from the ashes. Humanity and others once had a sprawling and successful civilization.

You are the Viceroy appointed by the Scorched Queen to reclaim expanses of wilderness in the name of rebuilding. While rebuilding a society may be a noble goal, it is not without its dangers. From Eremite Games comes a title where civilization’s end is never truly the end.

Beavers, lizards, harpies, and humans are together in the fight for survival. Earn enough experience to give yourself upgrades to add to the city. As one continues to progress, the opportunity to settle in more cities will arise.

This will allow one to rebuild an economy as well. But beware, blightstorms will be a constant looming threat. No matter how much one prepares to fight Against The Storm, they continuously reshape the world as you see it. Who knows how it will change the five biomes that exist?

If you fail in your mission to bring the world’s civilization, it will indeed be the end. Through procedural generation, a player can experience a different game. And all while still being able to access previously established cities.

Against The Storm is currently available on Steam in Early Access for $16.99. For more on the latest in gaming, drop in for some more gaming news. And if you want our thoughts on the latest blockbuster title, be sure to read one of our many game reviews.
