Have you ever wondered what working a tarmac entails. Jump into AirportSim and see what the job is all about.
Working as a TSA or a truck operator for an airport isn’t something many people can do. But with this title, AirportSim, players can experience sights seldom seen by the public. Get up close and personal with passenger planes. Move them onto or off the runway and carry out important maintenance. From MS Games, MK Interactive, and publisher Iceberg Interactive comes a realistic airport working experience.
Are you prepared to work at an oddly realistic airport? Developers haven’t just rendered digital versions of real-world locations. They painstakingly took all the right pictures, going so far as to match the gate numbers themselves to the real-world counterparts. If you’ve ever been to the airport in Key West, it’ll definitely give players a familiar feeling.
Developers currently have about three modes planned for initial release. Scenario, the first planned mode, will throw flight planning, possible dangerous weather, and mounting tasks on the shoulders of the player. Anyone wanting a challenge can take a shot at the leaderboards with Challenge mode. There’s also, of course, the desire to play with friends. Invite a friend or two into a cooperative game and see what can be accomplished as a team.
Working in AirportSim may sound easy at first, and it might be. But the dynamic weather system will slowly increase that difficulty. Sure, you might be working in rain, sleet, or snow, but there’s no telling what will happen to those airplanes. Or the trucks that cart them around the airport. Looking to create your own set of challenges? Come up with a scenario to see what you and your friends are made of.
DLC, including additional airports, is planned for the future. Wishlist AirportSim on Steam now to be one of the first to download upon release.
