AMD unveiled their new budget graphics card at CES for price-conscious consumers.
PC gaming is an expensive hobby to get into, with current-generation builds often costing hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars. Luckily, for gamers who might not be able to afford a top-of-the-line graphics card, AMD has you covered with their recently revealed Radeon RTX 7600 XT graphics card.
This budget-friendly graphics card was first unveiled at the 2024 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) and is the latest in its current lineup. The Radeon RTX 7600 XT will cost roughly $330, which is significantly less than competing graphics cards.
Despite the graphics card being the latest from AMD and aimed at a more budget-minded audience, the graphics performance is no slouch. The Radeon RTX 7600 XT was unveiled only a few months after rumors surfaced that an unknown AMD GPU would feature 16GB of VRAM and be produced by AMD’s partner Gigabyte.
Unlike most rumors that pop up online, these rumors have borne fruit: this “budget” graphics card offers an impressive amount of video memory that even surpasses the Radeon RX 7600. The graphics card will also feature higher clock speeds, though only slightly more.

If you’re interested in purchasing AMD’s new offering, you will be glad to know that the RTX 7600 XT will launch on January 24, 2024 at a reasonable price of around $330. Currently, with its more affordable price point and surprisingly powerful specs, AMD’s latest offering might be its most impressive product of 2024 so far.
As impressive as this sounds, the graphics card is still intended as a budget product, making it better suited to newcomers to PC building than to experienced hobbyists. The RX 7600 XT will retain the same memory bus as its non-XT counterpart, meaning that, despite its extra power, the graphics card may still struggle to render games at 1440p.
