AMD’s biggest Ryzen X3D processors have had their prices slashed drastically.
If you’re thinking of getting any of AMD’s fastest processors, Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Ryzen 7 9800X3D, or the Ryzen 9 9950X3D, then strongly consider getting them now. Because they’re all getting big sales that you don’t want to miss out on. And now is a great time to get an AMD chip, seeing as on the Intel side of things, they aren’t looking so good right now, and AMD continues to collect Ws when it comes to processors.
Yes, we just had the Prime Day Sale just the other week, but that doesn’t stop them from slashing prices. In fact, the new discount is similar to the Prime Day sales. So, again, if you’re looking to get either of those processors, then you need to look into them now.
AMD’s last generation and former gaming king, Ryzen 7 7800X3D, had the PC community in a storm with its release just two years ago. This 8-core titan would beat even the larger core processors when it comes to gaming. But now it can be yours for only £336. That’s over £100 from its previous price, and anyone would think that’s an offer you can’t refuse.
Then fast forward a year, and the current generation 9000 series chips arrive, we now have the new gaming king, Ryzen 7 9800X3D, and its performance is next level. Just arrived in October last year, and it can be yours for only £408. Over £40 more than its original price. It may not be as great, because at one point, the price was £399 on Prime Day. But the slash is great enough.
Now, we have a brand new processor that released in March 2025, the 9950X3D. This isn’t just among the best for gaming, but it’s the best processor overall. Meaning it’s also immense for productivity. The 9950X3D is typically for people whose job relies on their computer, such as content creators, programmers, etc.

Funny enough, both the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D and 7800X3D are also great for productivity tasks, but remember, they only have 8 cores. Which is good for productivity, but obviously not as great as the new processor with 9950X3D, having double the cores but still going toe to toe with 9800X3D’s gaming performance. And you can get the king of all kings hardware for £629, which is almost £100 less than the original price.
It’s scary how much AMD is creating these chips. It’s like they’re competing with themselves. But where are these sales happening, do you ask? Well, Amazon, of course. So, just to recap, here are the current Amazon prices of the godly processors.
- Ryzen 7 7800X3D From £449 to £336
- Ryzen 7 9800X3D From £445 to £408
- Ryzen 9 9950X3D From £705 to £629
