Animal Crossing Is Getting Sanrio-Inspired Villagers And Items Next Month

Following the game’s 1.9.0 update, you’ll be able to use the Sanrio Amiibo cards to invite new villagers and unlock special Sanrio items.

Sanrio-motivated locals, furniture, and different things are coming to Animal Crossing: New Horizons in the game’s March update. Following the update, you’ll have the option to welcome new townspeople and request things themed after Hello Kitty, My Melody, Cinnamoroll, and other Sanrio characters by examining the Animal Crossing Sanrio Amiibo cards.

Similarly, as in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, there are six Sanrio-inspired townspeople altogether, one for every one of the cards in the Sanrio Amiibo pack. The full rundown of locals and the Sanrio character they’re themed after is as per the following:

You’ll additionally have the option to arrange different furnishings and dress things dependent on the Sanrio characters, for example, a Cinnamoroll lounge chair and a Hello Kitty mat. These things and locals will all be acquainted with the game in the 1.9.0 update, which is scheduled to deliver on March 18. The Sanrio Amiibo cards themselves were first delivered in Japan and Europe back in 2016 to coincide with Animal Crossing: New Leaf’s large Welcome Amiibo update, yet they’ll be accessible without precedent for the US beginning March 26.

The card packs will be sold only at Target stores, and each pack contains all six Sanrio Amiibo cards. Meanwhile, Nintendo as of late released New Horizons’ Mario update, which presented a line of Super Mario furniture and items to the game, for example, twist pipes. The Mario things will all be accessible to arrange from Nook Shopping beginning March 1.

The update likewise added a modest bunch of new occasional items, which will go on sale at various focuses all through March.
