The Metroid-style side scroller will launch in the Epic Games Store and on Switch.

The hit 2015 side scroller Axiom Verge is getting a continuation, and developer Thomas Happ flaunted somewhat more of the game during the present Future Games Show occasion. Happ said he kept things brief to avoid spoilers (regardless of whether mentioning spoilers is a spoiler), yet confirmed that this game will occur both when the events of the main title take place.

One thing that hasn’t changed is that the game addresses interactivity from the extraordinary side scrollers of the past: Metroid, Contra, and others. In the concise clip, you can find out about what Happ implies when he says there will be new and distinctive game mechanics in this spin-off, yet genuine comprehension of the new game should wait until it’s released this spring on Epic Games Store and Nintendo Switch.

Happ’s still keeping much of Axiom Verge 2 a secret, but says there are “tons of hidden areas to explore and mysteries to find.” It’s out this spring on the Epic Games Store.
