Battlefied 5: Huge Summer Update

The mid-year update of Battlefield 5 is here, and it’s a major one: to some extent since it’s the last significant update that DICE’s WW2 shooter anticipated. It is a drop of 9.75 GB of changes and new stuff, highlighting two new maps along with new weapons, types of gear, explosives and vehicles.

The two new maps are Al Marj Encampment and Provence’s revised version. The first is an artillery unit just undertaking in Libya, which includes, as per the patch notes, a close-quarter mix and went through battle. The new Provence has been expanded to include the French city’s edges and adjacent farmland. The extended scale methods endorse tanks with the 64-player variety.

At the Battlefield 5 Subreddit, you can find the full patch notes over along with a message from DICE community manager Freeman explaining the subdued push around this final release. “We recognize that there are more important conversations taking place in the world today, so you haven’t seen us publish promotional material around the update this week, similar to how we have in the past on Battlefield V.”

He also added, “Racism should not exist in our society. We stand with all of our African-American / Black colleagues and partners, families and friends, and everyone around the world who is ready to see it end.” Stay connected to know more about upcoming small updates and the latest events. Andrew, CEO, EA also announced a new game coming by next fiscal year starting 2021.
