The hugely anticipated Battlefield 6 will finally be out in 2021. We are all excited for this game to arrive. We hope that this instalment is far better than the last game, Battlefield 5. Especially considering how Battlefield 5 turned out, with its array of bugs and glitches.
We can only hope that this time, DICE has done a much better job with this one, as we all eagerly await the opportunity to get our hands on it. As we were told last year, the upcoming Battlefield 6 will feature a “never-before-seen scale.” It is now being said that Battlefield 3 will have a “huge influence” on Battlefield 6. According to Tom Henderson, Battlefield 6 will draw inspiration from the 2011 game for ideas.
This was followed by his announcement that the game will feature 128-player maps. Henderson states that Battlefield 6 will follow in Call of Duty’s footsteps with a “back to basics reboot” and will be called the next instalment of “Battlefield”. It is also said that the game will be on last-gen consoles. However, that is being developed by a “different team”.
So far, this is sounding extremely promising and is living up to the “never-before-seen scale” talk. We eagerly await more news on this game, but it is something that will undoubtedly excite Battlefield fans. Especially when there will be a whopping 128 players in a single map, imagine all the mayhem you can cause.
