Ravenbound Lets One Become A Vessel For An Ancient Power In Thrilling Roguelike

Experience a fantasy world where death is not the end. In Ravenbound, you are blessed by the gods themselves.

The gods have blessed you with great power. Some might call it a curse. But in Ravenbound, from Systemic Reaction, one thing is certain: You are the instrument of the will of the gods. Raven, the force that resides within you, must be used to free the lands of Avalt from the darkness that seeks to consume it.

No two vessels are alike. And there is never any guarantee that a single vessel will be successful in its mission. Where one vessel may fall, another shall arise and take on the Raven’s power. With all the knowledge of the previous vessels, defeating the all-consuming darkness should be an easy feat. Battle against new foes as you venture into more areas, expanding the game’s open world.

Only when a powerful enough vessel has conquered evil will the cycle end. Your vessel’s power comes in the form of a card deck. It is this deck in Ravenbound that determines what abilities and/or spells a vessel may have. Stack the deck after each run to reinforce one’s odds of achieving the main goal. Face off against the likes of hulking Trolls that hinder your journey. Or stand against the undead known as the Draugr and work against becoming one of their numbers.
