Bokura Gives Players The Wonderful Opportunity To Play In A Pair

Ever feel like a platformer might be more fun with a friend? Here in Bokura, players have no choice but to explore together.

There’s a lot of adventuring potential when it comes to platformer titles. What’s rare, however, is when a game like Bokura allows for two players to journey together. Where some titles suggest or even encourage cooperative play, this title from Tokoronyori requires it. That’s right, this is a journey you cannot start on your own.

No two individuals have similar outlooks on the world. There’s like a high contrast between the world outlook of two individuals. Two brothers have escaped from home to find somewhere more peaceful. But sighting something nightmarish twists their reality into two separate places. Robots and a seemingly dystopian wasteland is one brother’s experience in a new reality. The other brother’s reality seems to have taken him to a lush, vibrant forest.

Remember that Bokura must absolutely be played with two people. No more, no less. One of the niftiest things about the title is how players will perceive each other. While ‘Player 1’ might occupy the lush forest, the second player will appear as some sort of animal. For the dystopian wasteland that Player 2 would be a part of, Player 1 would take on the guise of a robot. A handful of things the players both experience might not turn out the same way.

Play with a close friend or family member to solve the mystery of a fractured reality. Remember to help your companion, as the shared experience can only be completed together. With a short play. Bokura Early Access can be found now on Steam.
