A posting for a supposed alpha form of Call of Duty 2020 showed up on the Microsoft Store.

You can look at the posting for The Red Door here. It is a game recorded as a “Shooter” made by Activision. The description for the game reads: “There is more than one truth. On the off chance that you go searching for answers, be prepared to address everything and acknowledge that nothing will ever be the equivalent. The Red Door anticipates, do you dare step through it?” The game additionally has a predicted size of 81.65 GB and is appraised as Mature.

As verified by VG247, we’ve seen The Red Door previously when it showed up on the PS4 Database site with a Content ID that contained the string “COD2020.” It’s not satisfactory what precisely is going on here; however, it could be Activision participating in the development of forms of the game, a training that is regular in the games business—a month ago, we saw an early form of Gods and Monsters spill onto Google Stadia.

Obligation at hand news account Modern Warzone tweeted today that they had gotten an “undermining email” from Activision after utilizing the picture from The Red Door posting. This suggests that there is some validity behind this break and Activision’s authority over it.

Just received a pretty threatening email from Activision about our Red Door article on https://t.co/5blsXeU6Ga.

Apparently using the “red door” image everyone is using is infringing upon their rights. So id advise anyone who’s used that to remove it. pic.twitter.com/mqYT3ITEqP

Back in May, a series of reports proposed that the current year’s COD game would be called Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and that it would restore the arrangement to the late twentieth-century recorded setting it had recently occupied. The entirety of this suggests Activision is raring up to unveil the current year’s Call of Duty game. So watch this space for more news on that front.
