Chrono Odyssey closed beta launches this June, offering a glimpse into Satara’s time-bending battles and epic classes.

Launching a closed beta this June on PC, the highly anticipated MMORPG Chrono Odyssey is set in a war-torn environment where players wield time-manipulating powers. More than 400,000 players have already registered. Three of the six classes—the swordsman, ranger, and berserker—were featured in the beta; each had distinct combat techniques and weapon-switching elements.

Driven by Unreal Engine 5, it offers immersive visuals, dynamic surroundings, and large-scale conflicts. Although the gameplay seems great, questions persist about publisher Kakao Games’ monetization track record. The beta lets one evaluate game potential and test gameplay.

One of the more anticipated MMORPGs available, Chrono Odyssey, is finally beginning to show some activity following months of quiet. Soon, the game will go into a closed beta, and information is starting to circulate on what gamers can expect. Beta signups are now available on Steam, and testing is set to start in June. More than 400,000 people have already registered to demonstrate the great interest this title piques.

Despite the beta only being accessible on PC, the game will debut on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Interested parties can request access on the Steam page. Set on a battle-scarred planet known as Satara, Chrono Odyssey features players as part of an elite group known as the Sentinels—warriors who can alter time to counteract divine entities and cosmic dangers.

Time-based skills like rewinding to avoid damage, freezing enemies, or linking strong attacks together make combat seem fluid. Players will experience three of the six scheduled classes—the swordsman, ranger, and berserker—during the beta. Each has a distinct approach: the swordsman is a tanky frontline fighter, the ranger provides mobile ranged combat, and the berserker emphasizes violent melee damage.

Though they will come with the full release, sorcerers, assassins, and paladins are not present in the beta. Every class can alternate two weapons mid-combat, therefore enhancing your approach to battles. Driven by Unreal Engine 5, the game’s graphics also drew notice for promises of immersive settings, real lighting, weather effects, and day-night cycles.

Time-related anomalies also influence the appearance and behavior of places. Given the size of an MMORPG constructed on such a challenging engine, some players wonder how smoothly everything will run. The beta will offer players access to one area of Satara and include part of the whole narrative. The Summer Games Fest could provide more information that might expose extra classes, locations, or features.

Although the trailers make the game seem great, it’s crucial to observe how it actually plays. This beta lets gamers get hands-on and decide for themselves if Chrono Odyssey meets expectations. One worry is that Kakao Games, the game’s publisher, has been criticized in the past for aggressive monetization and management problems in other MMOs.

However, Chrono Odyssey is a buy-to-play game (which typically helps to avoid pay-to-win problems), and it is unclear how the publisher will handle things going forward. Many are still optimistic that this might be a strong new addition to the MMO space, and the beta is an excellent approach to begin discovering it.
