ININ Games’ Guinness World Records-breaking game Clockwork Aquario will be released digitally on Xbox and Steam this summer.

With the introduction of 3D games in Japan’s arcades, Clockwork Aquario was suddenly withdrawn after nearly 30 years of development. Thankfully, ININ Games and Strictly Limited Games were able to reunite the original developers and give Clockwork Aquario the long-awaited release it deserved. Clockwork Aquario has been the official holder of the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDSTM for the longest time between the start of a videogame production and its release!

With its delightful, dynamic gameplay, charming characters, and the kind of humor only arcade games can bring, the bright 2D-pixel art platformer is bringing joy to fans of all ages. Thanks to the game’s two-player option, retro gamers may show their children a particular piece of arcade gaming history.

Clockwork Aquario was initially released on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 and was highly praised by critics of all ages. Following its success on the two platforms, Clockwork Aquario will be released on Xbox and Steam in the summer.
