Crusader Kings 3 flavour packs: Northern Lords and Fate of Iberia plus future packs will be a higher price going forward.
Crusader Kings 3 DLC is said to be increasing in price following a statement from the Paradox Interactive community ambassador on the forums of the game. The DLC is currently priced at $6.99 ($5.19 in the UK), but following this major price hike, the ‘flavour packs’ will cost a whopping $12.99
On this forum, it was stated that the reason for this price hike was “to reflect the overall value of this kind of content moving forward”. The post also states that these prices are regional to the USA and will differ depending on where you are.
This was also stated on Twitter:
Both the forum post and Twitter state that players who want to get access to these DLCs at their original prices can do so until September 13th. This will only affect the flavour packs and will not do anything to the prices of the more content-heavy expansions.
It is unknown as to the reason behind this price increase, and beyond that, future flavour packs may contain more content to warrant this significant price increase.
