The next Crusader Kings 3 dlc shall release September 8th alongside the free ‘Bastion’ Update.

We learned more details about the Crusader Kings 3 update regarding the improvement to their AI, however, Paradox Interactive has now revealed more details about the next ‘Bastion’ update as well as this brand new event pack. The ‘Friends and Foes’ event pack will add over 100 more events to the game to make gaming’s most incredible medieval soap opera even better and more dramatic. They announced this in a trailer that they dropped on Paradox’s official YouTube channel:

The trailer shows off various events, including an event where one fires their cat out of a cannon. This is a paid DLC, although the price has not been revealed, much to the chagrin of many fans, particularly considering how Crusader Kings 3 DLC is almost doubling in price from September 13th (5 days after this DLC drops).

Releasing for free alongside this paid content is the 1.7 Bastion update. We covered some details regarding this massive update before, however, even more details have been revealed on the dev diary. Now, the newest information is that characters will finally have memories, allowing players to track various aspects of both their characters and other characters’ lives. This, in conjunction with revamped childhood events, reasons behind friendships and rivalries, and more, will mean that the ‘Bastion’ update may be the most important in Crusader Kings 3’s 2-year run.

Crusader Kings 3 Friends and Foes Pack is available to add to your wishlist on Steam now and will release next week on September 8th.
