Cyberpunk 2077 Previous Gen Versions Experiencing A Number Of Issues

After years of waiting, you have finally gotten your hands on the very highly anticipated game. You have finished installing everything and you are ready to go and have an epic experience with the game. But there is a problem, in fact, there are many problems with the game apparently. Cyberpunk 2077 was just released yesterday and already there are a considerable quantity of issues that previous-gen gamers are experiencing.

According to Eurogamer’s Wesley Yin-Poole, Playstation 4 & Xbox One gamers are experiencing major issues such as low framerate. He explained “I’ve been playing on the PS4 version of CD Projekt sci-fi epic and can report poor performance, including low framerate and texture pop-in when the screen is busy. Even when it’s not, there is on occasion a low-res blur to the visuals. And I’ve encountered multiple characters locked in a T-pose, frozen in place or glitched into an object. You can still talk to these NPCs but their mouths do not move”

Streamers on Twitch have voiced the same issues whilst going live. Strangely though, there are currently not many issues that have been reported on the current-gen consoles. This is ironic seeing as the game was initially for previous-gen consoles. You would think that after the game’s years of development and many delays, these issues or at the very least most of them wouldn’t occur.

The good news is that earlier today according to Cyberpunk’s official Twitter, seems like they will work on fixing these issues with future updates.

We are truly humbled that so many of you trusted us and decided to support #Cyberpunk2077 before the release! Even 8 million thank yous isn't enough! The journey has just begun and we are hard at work on the upcoming fixes and updates to the game. See you in Night City! pic.twitter.com/ycIe2kN0Zq
