CD Projekt Red releases data that shows users how to transfer Cyberpunk 2077 data savings between console generations. If you start Cyberpunk 2077 on the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, you will be ready to bring your savings to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S, respectively. CD Project Red Developer Cyberpunk 2077 tells in detail about the steps needed to ensure that your savings are transferred to your next console and that it varies slightly between PS5 and Xbox Series X / S.

PS4 – PS5 Cyberpunk 2077cross-save
When you get into your Night City action on PS5, you have a few options to resolve from. Players can interface with PlayStation Plus and transfer their saved documents. Players can also use an external hard drive to duplicate their final file which can be transferred to the PS5 console. Then, players have the option of transferring data via a wireless network connection or LAN cable.

Xbox One – Xbox Series X Cyberpunk 2077 cross-save
The Xbox cross saves include a simple one-way track to move your backup file further. Those who play Cyberpunk 2077 on Xbox One can store their file in the cloud and use the same file on their Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S. Players can also use System Network Transfer with both devices attached to the same network. This may go down in the Xbox Series X Smart Delivery.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be released in the current generation of programs with gen ports scheduled to be released sometime in 2021. Having said that, some people are waiting to play this game for a while, and will definitely not want to wait for the PS5 and Xbox Series X / S ports to be released.
