Daredevil: Born Again Will Reboot All Netflix Content

In preparation for the upcoming revamp, Daredevil: Born Again has confirmed that it will re-create everything from Netflix.

The actor Charlie Cox has said categorically that the Daredevil: Born Again reboot would not renew the Netflix series. Everything about it was supposed to be a total overhaul, save from their work on Marvel TV.

Some remained skeptical, but many of us assumed it was related to the original series because of the little clues they dropped. We also know that some parts were replaced when filming of Daredevil: Born Again began. As an example, neither Foggy nor Karen were present.

Recent details by Charlie Cox indicate that they plan to revive Foggy for a brief appearance before killing him off. It was planned that after that, the series would go its own way. And regarding your second question, yes, a new Vanessa will be joining the cast. Similar to how everyone else is unique, Kingpin is exceptional.

And if you consider what occurred with Hawkeye and similar projects, you’ll see that it was a different kingpin—one that was essentially attempting to mimic Vincent D’Onofrio’s work but had some significant aspects adjusted. It’s clear he’s stronger and more resilient than in the Netflix series.

The fact that Charlie has confirmed this tells us that Marvel Studios knew there was only one way to satisfy everyone and have Born Again work the moment they returned to the writing room and began redeveloping it.

Therefore, they had no other option, even if it was something they wanted to avoid. This turns out to be a good thing, in my opinion. Before it was too late, they probably understood they had to change course. It seems clear that Charlie Cox was authorized to discuss it to generate further excitement for what comes next.

They should have done it immediately upon realizing that the five episodes they had already filmed weren’t going to work. They hoped that if they fixed it, the supporters would like it. The most effective solution would have been to keep the Netflix series going without really rebooting Daredevil.
