Months after its release, Dead Island 2’s first expansion arrives next month.

Dead Island 2, the game everyone was waiting for quite a while, was out a few months ago with better graphics, detailed gameplay, and even more parkour elements for players to enjoy. Instead of being stuck on an island, players are now trying to escape the zombie-filled eastern side of the US. Despite its long-overdue arrival, Dead Island 2 had a good reception from everyone, including the players who loved the first game.

Although it has been a silent few months, Dead Island 2 is still relevant, and now with its upcoming first expansion, it is going to draw people in even more. Called Haus, this expansion is aimed at players who love the gore and killing aspect of the game. Of course, there is going to be a proper storyline as Haus is not adding new weapons and perk packs. In the story of Haus, players will need to penetrate the dance clubs of Malibu and unveil a story related to the techno-death cult of Konstantin.

Haus expansion will add new weapons such as explosive crossbows, a bunch of new tools to turn zombies into barbeque, and new perk cards to build different types of characters of your choosing. Seems like the developers, Dambuster Studios, wanted to allow players to be freer when it comes to their combinations. Developers also stated that a second storyline is in the making for Dead Island 2 as well.

The new Haus story expansion will be arriving on the 5th of November for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC- only through the Epic Store. If you have the game pass for the Dead Island 2, the expansion will be included in the game pass. If you do not have the game pass, however, the expansion will be available to purchase separately. Too bad the developers could have tied Haus to the upcoming Halloween, which could have been a great addition and atmosphere to Dead Island 2’s gritty and visceral nature.
