A traveler from the future has come to warn of an event that will wipe out 5,000 planets. Using DRAINUS, an energy-absorbing ship, one will have to stop the Kharlal Empire’s rampage before it ever begins. Take energy in with the reflector and dish damage back at the enemy in response. From Team Ladybug comes a 2D space shooter that places the lives of trillions in the hands of a special ship.
Take on the role of Irina, a young woman living under the oppressive rule of the Kharlal Empire. Her biggest goal is saving her father, who suffers from a condition called Planetary Compatibility Disorder. With going back to Earth the only solution, there aren’t a lot of options for the pirate-in-the-making. Receiving a message from 50 years in the future, the young woman is told she must stop the evil Governor-General Izumo of the Kharlal’s Empire. It’ll be up to her and DRAINUS to save as many souls as possible.
Absorbing energy and reflecting isn’t the only thing the ship can do. One can also use the energy to upgrade the ship. Change up your blasts to be a powerful, centered beam. Or choose to make a weapon that can deliver damage over a large area.
Will you be able to take on the role of Irina and stop the Kharlal Empire’s expansion? Or will billions upon billions perish for your miscalculations?
