The new PS5 controller, DualSense, features a seamless switch between devices without requiring re-syncing.

To enhance cross-device compatibility, Sony is releasing a software update for the PS5 DualSense controller. The upgrade will enable the controller to remember several paired devices, thereby simplifying switching between the PS5, PC, or mobile without needing to resync each time.

Although an official release date hasn’t been set yet, the update aims to enhance user convenience for those who use the controller outside of the PlayStation environment and is scheduled for release later this year.

Though I’m waiting for it to go on sale first, I’ll eventually grab it. Seriously, the digital edition will weigh only roughly 50 to 100 megabytes; hence, there is no need to purchase a physical copy. Share your ideas in the comments so that we can continue.

Sony recently debuted a practical new update for the PlayStation 5 DualSense controller. Using the controller across several devices should be greatly simplified by this little yet effective modification. Sony announced that a software upgrade will soon enhance the controller’s compatibility with various platforms.

You already know the present annoyance if you constantly move between your PS5, a PC, or even a mobile device. Currently, should you link the controller to a PC or another device, you must thereafter connect it to your PS5 using a USB cable. Although it’s not a major stride, frequent flipping back and forth can become tiresome.

The new update will allow the controller to recall multiple connections, enabling it to remain linked to both your PS5 and other devices, such as a computer, without needing to resync every time. It utilizes the controller anytime and everywhere you wish, without any trouble, in essence. Although a precise release date has not been set yet, it is anticipated to be later this year.

Although it may not be the most fascinating function, it will certainly improve the experience for those using the DualSense outside of the PS5. Updates like this imply Sony is hearkening to some of the user input, even if it is little, as they continue to strive for better cross-platform support and PC compatibility.
