Along with Mediatonic, Tonic Games Group owns Irregular Corporation and Fortitude Games.

Epic Games has purchased Tonic Games Group, the parent organization of Fall Guys studio Mediatonic. The aggregate additionally incorporates the distributor Irregular Corporation and another studio, Fortitude Games.

“Beyond the shared vision among our teams, we see tremendous potential in combining forces with Epic,” Tonic Games Group co-founder and chief games officer Paul Croft said in a statement. “Whether it’s about making our games the best they can be or empowering other game developers to take their content from a kernel of an idea to commercial success, we know that together we will be able to reach greater heights.”

The Fall Guys ‘ongoing interaction isn’t changing,” as per Epic. The organization intends to continue to put resources into the hit platformer fight royale. The game is presently accessible on PlayStation 4, PS5, and Steam. Fall Guys will arrive on Nintendo Switch and Xbox this late spring. Apparently, after this arrangement, it will show up on the Epic Games Store later on, too.

In a blog entry, Mediatonic said it’s expecting to bring a portion of the highlights of Fortnite and Rocket League over to Fall Guys. Those incorporate record frameworks, cross-play, and crew versus crew modes. In contrast to those other two games, Fall Guys isn’t going to be allowed to play, in any event, not for the present. Fall Guys, as of now, utilizes a similar enemy of cheat program as Fortnite.

The news comes ahead of the very day that Fall Guys got five BAFTA Game Awards nominations. Mediatonic, as of late uncovered a modern subject for the game’s forthcoming fourth season.
