‘Fallout 4’ And Other Bethesda Games Will Get A Frame Rate Boost On Xbox

Five more Bethesda games are getting FPS Boost.

Microsoft dispatched the FPS Boost highlight on the Xbox Series X and S in February to bring new life into reverse viable Xbox One titles. At the time, just five titles got the update, which gives you an approach to play the more established games at higher frame rates without mods.

Presently, five more Bethesda games are getting FPS Boost to uphold: Fallout 4, Fallout 76, Prey, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition, and Dishonored: Definitive Edition. The recently added sections to the rundown of games with FPS Boost were uncovered during the most recent episode of The Official Xbox Podcast with Xbox Live’s Larry “Significant Nelson” Hryb and Xbox senior communications director Jeff Rubenstein. Every one of the five is accessible on Microsoft Game Pass, making them playable on both Xbox and PC.

A few, similar to Fallout 4, were added not long after Bethesda formally turned out to be important for Xbox following the fulfillment of Microsoft’s $7.5 billion agreement to secure ZeniMax Media and its computer game publishers. Games that help the element get their framerates multiplied from 30 to 60FPS; however, some can even be played at 120FPS on the new consoles. Right now, it’s not completely clear when the games are getting FPS Boost precisely.

As Kotaku noticed, the element could show up with the following major Xbox Series X and S update, which will include settings to flip HDR and FPS Boost for every individual game.
