Gangs of Sherwood gets a new logo as well as a brand-new gameplay trailer.
NACON and Appeal Studios have announced the release date for Gangs of Sherwood, which reimagines the tale of Robinhood. They have also shared new information about the gam,e such as key art, the game’s brand-new logo, and an all-new gameplay video showcasing 17 minutes of Gangs of Sherwood Gameplay.
Gangs of Sherwood is an action-adventure co-op that reimagines the world of Robin Hood. There are four iconic characters you can play as. Robin Hood, Maid Marian, Friar Tuck, and Little John. You will fight your way from Locksey to the Sherwood Forest and eventually the flying fortress of the Sheriff of Nottingham. When working together with other players, you can let loose a devastating combination of attacks as seen in the gameplay video.
The new video showcases two of the playable characters in Gangs of Sherwood: Friar Tuck and the main character behind the legend, Robin Hood. Robin Hood excels at ranged fighting, as seen in the video, firing off rapid volleys of arrows at enemies.
As for the good Friar, his strong and stocky physique leans more toward a heavy-handed approach. He can deal high amounts of damage to enemies in close quarters and can protect himself with an energy shield. The Gameplay takes place in the game’s early levels, where our heroes are still being hunted in the streets of Locksley by the Sheriff of Nottingham’s army.
Gangs of Sherwood is looking like an action-adventure you wouldn’t want to miss. The game will be released on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on the 19th of October 2023.
