Gotham Knights, Shockingly, Seems to be Getting 4 Player Co-Op

Gotham Knights, Warner Bros’ Montreal title, was thought to only have a two-player co-op, but new information has come to light.

Gotham Knights is one of the most highly anticipated games in the gaming world. The game, set in ‘the most dynamic Gotham city yet’, stars four titular characters from the ‘Batman Family.’ Robin (Tim Drake), Red Hood (Jason Todd), Nightwing (Dick Grayson) and Batgirl (Barbara Gordon). These characters are massively famous in the DC world, and Warner Bro’s Montreal is working diligently to bring them to life.

Now, in rather exciting news, following a Reddit post in which an eagle-eyed fan points out that the PlayStation store now has four players, fans have been salivating for more. Firstly, I checked for myself to ensure there was no error, and right there is the same information: four players.

Naturally, this change makes complete sense given the number of characters in the cast—four players for four characters is far neater than four characters for two players. But for almost all of its development and marketing, Gotham Knights has been shown as a game featuring a two-player co-op. Only time will tell whether this is a mistake on PlayStation’s part or a genuine new addition to this highly anticipated title.

Gotham Knights is the next game being created by the Batman: Arkham Origins studio, Warner Bros. Montreal. The game is set to be released on 25 October 2022, and fans are clamoring for the opportunity to dive into this greedy world.

Here at GamesCreed, aside from everything Gotham, we also cover everything related to gaming. From the latest news to game reviews, GamesCreed has you covered.
