Gotham Knights, the Warner Bro’s Montreal title was thought to only have 2 player co-op but new information has come to light.
Gotham Knights is one of the most highly anticipated games in the sphere of the gaming world. The game set in ‘the most dynamic Gotham city yet’ stars four titular characters from the ‘Batman Family.’ Robin (Tim Drake), Red Hood (Jason Todd), Nightwing (Dick Grayson) and Batgirl (Barbara Gordon). These characters are massively famous in the DC world and Warner Bro’s Montreal are working diligently to bring them to life.
Now in rather interesting news, following a reddit post where an eagle eyed fan points out that the PlayStation store now states 4 players, fans have been salivating for more. Firstly, I did check for myself to ensure there was no error and right there is the same information. 4 players.
Naturally this change realistically makes complete sense given the number of characters in the cast, 4 players for 4 characters is far neater than 4 characters for two players. But for almost all of it’s development and marketing, Gotham Knights has been shown as a game featuring 2 player co-op. Whether this is a mistake on PlayStations part, or a genuine new addition to this highly anticipated title, only time will tell.
Gotham Knights is the next game being created by the Batman: Arkham Origins studio, Warner Bro’s Montreal. The game is set to be released on 25th October 2022 and fans are clamouring for the opportunity to dive into this insatiable world.
