Rockstar Games will before long address GTA Online’s notorious PC loading times. The fix comes almost six years after the game came out on Windows. Furthermore, PC players may have wound up standing by much more, notwithstanding being crafted by somebody locally.

As PC Gamer recounts the story, an individual who goes by the handle of t0st as of late took to GitHub to share proof of concept of a fix they produced for the game. They guaranteed it could improve GTA Online’s stacking times by as much as 70% by addressing an issue with a CPU bottleneck. They cautioned the fix wasn’t “for easygoing use,” yet assessed a solitary developer at Rockstar could execute something comparable in under a day.

Everything considered, it will take longer than that, yet as indicated by Rockstar, an authority fix is in transit. “After a thorough investigation, we can confirm that player t0st did reveal an aspect of the game code related to load times for the PC version of GTA Online that could be improved,” the company told PC Gamer. “As a result of these investigations, we have made some changes that will be implemented in a forthcoming title update.”

Rockstar didn’t say when it intends to deliver the fix. Yet, following quite a while of enduring sluggish loading times, in any event, there’s a promising end to current circumstances for PC players.
