Lead Designer Jerry Hook Says That 343 Will Roll Out Pricing Changes In Halo Infinite In The Coming Week

Halo Infinite has been a blockbuster; if it were a movie, the term ‘Box-Office Smash’ would be used. Furthermore, critically, it has undoubtedly been 343’s best Halo Game and rivals some of Bungie’s greatest.

Despite this, the game still contains mistakes, which, to be perfectly honest, should be anticipated. Behind the thin veil of companies are the developers who are working incredibly hard, especially when it comes to online games that require constant management.

One of the major complaints with Halo Infinite is twofold. Firstly, the way that the store is packaged and released, many Infinite players feel like some of the cosmetics present on the store appear to have been wrenched from the battle pass, a reason for the company to earn extra money on what would most likely be some of the more popular pieces of armour.

Secondly, it comes in regards to battle pass progression. They have already updated this one, and still, it has not quite hit the mark. Again, the developers are human beings, and they will get the changes implemented as soon as humanly possible.

Jerry Hook made a statement about this on Twitter, writing:

We’ve been monitoring the discussions on the Shop, bundles, and pricing closely since launch. Using data and community feedback, we’re going to begin rolling out changes to how we package and price items in @Halo Infinite – and it all starts next week.

The Development team will be adjusting pricing and the way the cosmetics are packaged on the store. In addition to this, Jerry Hook stated that the ‘shop experience will vary week to week’ as they continuously try to improve the pricing and ultimately, the value for money.

Moreover, Twitter user MadMaddie207 stated this on Twitter, with Jerry Hook responding:

I think we need to do both.

All in all, what this shows is 343’s dedication to ensuring that Halo Infinite continues to grow and improve, and most importantly, doesn’t stagnate. I am optimistic in regards to the future of Halo Infinite and could be more excited for whatever 343 wishes to add to an already stunning game.
