From the minds of Ice Code Games comes a supernatural tale of the Wild West. Co-written by Matt Forbeck (Halo novels), Hard West 2 features voice talent from the likes of Kevin Conroy (Batman: TAS). In this occult tale, you are one Gin Carden. As a garden variety outlaw, you spend most days robbing the occasional train carrying bank money. But you and your posse have caught wind of the legendary “ghost train”. This train is said to carry federal gold, which is extremely valuable. Gathering everyone from gunslingers to witches, only time will tell if your posse is even up to the task.
As the head of the posse in Hard West 2, many decisions are left up to you. Certain decisions may strengthen the bond between Gin and those most loyal to him, awarding loyalty points. But if your choices negatively affect them, expect severe penalties.
With a constantly shifting environment, turn-based combat is sure to keep players on their toes. Activate Bravado State after enough kills and pull off crazy, stylish combos. The longer your streak, the easier it’ll be to take out subsequent enemies throughout battle.
Hard West 2 developers are hosting an Open Beta from May 5th until June 5th. Head over to Steam now to request access. The full release for the game will be announced at a later date.
