Ninja Theory delivers a smooth port with breathtaking visuals, pushing Unreal Engine 5 to new heights.
Ninja Theory has finally released Hellblade 2 for the PlayStation 5, with a version that is better for the PS5 Pro. The developer said that the process of porting from Xbox Series consoles was surprisingly smooth. This gave the team more time to improve performance and add more material.
The hardest part was making the game work on the PS5 Pro. The version of Unreal Engine 5 that came with the game hadn’t been updated for the new system, so Ninja Theory had to bring back features to make PSSR work. Even with this problem, the team agreed that the end result was better than expected, providing both stability and a stunning visual experience.
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, which came out on August 12, now has a 60 fps performance mode that shows off the game’s visual presentation. Push Square gave it a 6 out of 10 rating, saying that the graphics were impressive but the game wasn’t very deep.
If you want to see how Unreal Engine 5 works on the PS5 Pro, you have to play Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II. The story is interesting, but some parts of the gameplay could be better. However, there’s no denying that this release is a technical triumph and a visual masterpiece.
