Looks like Guerrilla Games is working on a side project.

The developers of Horizon Forbidden West are hopeful about its release in the second part of 2021. However, we still don’t know the official release date of the action-adventure title. One must think that developer Guerrilla Games is working hard solely on the sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn, but we found out that the studio is also working on another project behind the curtain.

This game remains unheard of and unseen, but the studio has been working on it at full capacity since 2018. Maybe we will hear more about this side project once Horizon Forbidden West hits store shelves. You must be wondering where we heard about it!

Well, the studio’s Game Director, Simon Larouche, recently posted on his LinkedIn profile about working on an “unannounced title”. He gave no other clue. Also, he noted that “Secret game is secret!”. We aren’t sure whether this game will be released, but we can assume that it will be on PlayStation 5.

Horizon Forbidden West will be released on PS4 and PS5, but that doesn’t mean that this mysterious game will have the same future. Sony showed that it will support the console for a longer period than anyone expected. As Horizon Zero Dawn is hugely popular, Guerrilla has also grown in size because of it.

Now, Guerrilla is big enough to work on a side project along with Forbidden West, and that seems to be the case.
