A new ranking has been put together by bespoke jewelry brand Taylor & Hart, which values some of the most iconic pieces of jewelry from TV, film, and gaming. Whether she’s battling Bowser, racing down Rainbow Road, or ruling her Kingdom, Princess Peach is probably the best-known female protagonist in the history of gaming, and she is seldom seen without her iconic crown.
Not only does Princess Peach single-handedly rule the entire Mushroom Kingdom, but she also bears the weight of a crown that would be worth more than $300m in the real world, making her one of the wealthiest video game characters to ever exist.
Kate Earlam-Charnley, Design Director at Taylor & Hart, estimates the crown to be worth approximately $330,802,800 and says:
‘What could be more fitting for royalty than a 175kt peach sapphire flanked by two Paraiba tourmalines of similar size and karat. The value of these, combined with an estimated $52,000 just for the metal to hold them, would easily bring the total value to nine figures!’

Other items in the ranking by Taylor & Hart – in which they value some of pop culture’s most iconic pieces of jewelry – include the Diamond Sword from Minecraft, worth around $229,000, and Bella Goth’s necklace from The Sims, which would bring in $111,000.
