Whether you have pre-ordered or will try to get one from the launch sales, this has gotten every British PlayStation fan very excited as they are ever so close to getting their hands on the beautiful next-gen console.
The entire UK will undoubtedly celebrate the launch of the PlayStation 5. Furthermore, the renowned Underground station Oxford Circus has joined the wave by replacing the underground logo with PlayStation shapes to celebrate the release.
This news has gotten so many UK residents talking. PlayStation UK’s official Twitter confirmed this by saying, “From one iconic shape to four. We’ve given the Oxford Circus Tube signs a PS5 upgrade.“
It doesn’t end there. Tube stations have also been renamed after PlayStation-exclusive titles. Thus far, the confirmed stations are ‘Ratchet & Clankster Gate’, ‘ Horizon Forbidden West Ham’, and ‘Gran Turismo 7 sisters’. This is marketing at its finest.
Those who are hoping that the console will be restocked on release day are in luck. Amazon UK has confirmed that they will have new stock at exactly noon. Moreover, John Lewis, Very, and Curry’s have also confirmed they will have new stock available on release. The time that the three retailers will have the console available is unknown. Therefore, it is highly recommended that people stay alert throughout the day online.
