Gamepires, the developers of SCUM, an open-world survival craft MMO, has announced a 50% off sale alongside their Hell’s Kitchen update that brings in two new DLCs. Hell’s Kitchen is the 16th major update since the game launched into early access in August 2018. The game was published by Jagex. Jagex is the same company that published games like Runescape and Space Punks.
The Hell’s Kitchen update introduces an overhauled cooking and loot system, brand new weapons, and access to electricity and gas. It also introduces a new abandoned city to explore. One of the newly released DLCs is a premium playable character, Luis Moncada.
The Luis Moncada DLC in SCUM unlocks special clothing inspired by the character. A weapon for Luis Moncada, the La Hatcha axe. In addition, a complete voice pack filled with voice-acted actions and taunts to salt the wounds of whoever crosses your path. In addition to accessing the character through the character creation menu, you can also find it under plastic surgery in the Doctor Trader.
The Luis Moncada character is modelled after his iconic role as Marco Salamanca in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. The voice pack is voiced by Luis Moncada himself. But the addition of being able to look like Luis Moncada isn’t the only character update, as they have added more hairstyle customization options for the female characters.
The overhaul of the cooking mechanic has been long awaited by players. This allows them to master their skills and make full use of ingredients and special recipes. This comes with a rework of the hunting system as well. Keep your senses sharp, or the hunter becomes the hunted.
There are a couple of new weapons now available in SCUM, from the rocket-propelled grenade to the anti-tank AT4, which are effective for taking on sentry mechs that have appeared all over the map. Additionally, players will be able to upgrade their bases with new gas and electricity systems to thrive instead of just surviving.
