Marvel’s Midnight Suns was originally slated for release in October of this year.
It has been announced that Marvel’s Midnight Suns the next game from Firaxis Games (Developers of Xcom) has been delayed… Again. The game was originally slated to release in March of this year, however, last November saw Firaxis and 2K push the game back to October, now once again the game has been delayed to ‘later this fiscal year’ which could mean a March 2023 release.
They announced this on their official twitter:
Firaxis have assured players that this delay is to “make sure we are delivering the best possible experience for everyone.” We also know now for certain that the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions are ‘following at a later date’.
This is undoubtedly a blow to many who were excited for the release of Marvel’s Midnight Suns in October, but ultimately, if the developers have decided on a delay, it can only mean that they wish to produce a highly polished and fantastic game.
